I'm a Yale grad and I put Nathan in Gryffindor (I may be biased since I always test as Gryffindor). I think you'd be surprised at how un-Ravenclaw a lot of Yalies are.

That's what I found weird, too. To me, she's an obvious Slytherin. Her 3A is gutsy, yes but she also needed to be quite ambitious and determined to get that done. And from her general sarcastic attitude, I'd say Slytherin would suit perfectly, too!
