The Viennese Waltz, the mother of all dances. I enjoy it more on skates than I do in ballroom. It flows. I also think long legs give it a boost, and when they swing together it is added beauty. Close-ups of the feet are especially interesting to watch as is the lean of the bodies in 3/4 Time. Edging is must.
The three top teams in any order were the best of the lot. I had to smile at Jana Khoklova in that gorgeous red dress. It reminded me of Bette Davis in Jezebel where at the biggest ball of the country all the ladies wore white and she wore red. Good for Jana.
I also enjoyed Zhadoroznick(sp) and Verbillo (Ukraine) - a team to watch.
