Interclub figure skating competitions are organized by Global Skating Academy (founded by Alexander Lakernik). The principle of the academy is that figure skating is a big family, the main unit of which are the clubs, because it is the clubs that train skaters. Global Skating Academy offers a new format of competitions - here the participants represent not the country, but their club, no matter where it is located. Beginners, pre-novice, novice, advanced novice and junior skaters take part.
The first competition was held on October 27-29, 2023 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in children's and junior age groups. A total of 140 skaters from 21 clubs in Russia, Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan participated.
The next competition will be held on 16.11.2023-19.11.2023 in Turkey, Ankara.
