I see that Isabeau’s name has been withdrawn from the entries list for Warsaw Cup. She really didn’t need it as she’d already done two Challenger events. It just means we won’t see her again until Nationals which seems like a long time from now unless she somehow qualifies for the GP Final!

I love Isabeau so much. Polina Edmunds said a nice thing about Isabeau in the practice video. She said that she can tell Isabeau has done a lot of ballet training, but while many skaters do ballet, it is unusual to see so much ballet movement in skating. There are few skaters in the world like Isabeau, and she thinks it is refreshing. I agree completely! I value variety in skating, so I like to see different styles, but Isabeau's style is very rare so I greatly appreciate what she is doing. It is alright if some people like other styles, I just wish that Isabeau received more recognition for the rare quality of her skating. Maybe she does? I can't tell by looking at this forum, but hopefully.

Yay for a beautiful short program! I think Isabeau looks happier and less stressed when I catch glimpses of her in the behind the scenes footage. I know that Amber is an important role model and friend for Isabeau, and now with Alysa around radiating positive energy I feel that Isabeau has a better environment to compete in than when she had to carry American womens' skating all on her own and earn the WC slots and so on. (I still want her to be National Champion again though).

Look again! Isabeau seems to be having lots of fun, posing with her fellow "Blade Angels", doing all the Olympic stuff, and hunting for Hello Kitty pins in the Olympic Village. She also has a new roommate, Christina Carreira. U.S. Figure Skating is posting a lot of stuff about the women too.

Isabeau and Christina seem to besties now. They adopted some plants to keep in their room. They even gave the plants names! So fun for me to see Isabeau living it up and having fun with what the backstage Olympic experience has to offer

Are you hoping that Isabeau will be in the team event? I am. I'm trying not to get too attached to this idea.

I would love to see Isabeau skate in the team event. However, I don’t think she is even being considered when compared to Alysa, the World and GPFinal champion, and Amber, the 3-time National champion with a triple axel.

I found out that one of my friends at work likes figure skating, though I don't think she has followed it since Meryl Davis (her favorite skater). I showed her videos of Amber, Alysa, and Isabeau's SPs from Nationals. She thought Amber and Alysa were pretty impressive but decided Isabeau was her favorite because her skating is the most gorgeous and graceful (her words). Now we are going to cheer for Isabeau together!

I think the plant adoption thing was supposed to be stress relief for the athletes. Judging by Isabeau's plant videos, it's working! In fact, it is doing wonders for my stress.

I just saw Isabeau practicing in one of the training videos on Peacock and she looks good. Wishing her all the best on Tuesday and hope she is happy with how she skates in the short program!

All I want is for Isabeau to be happy! I know that medals and placements inevitably influence how a skater feels, but if Isabeau is happy, for me that is perfect
