Ring Tree Bright Kid would probably be Akiko Suzuki, 鈴木 明子, Suzuki is actually more accurately translated as Bell wood, bright child suits her very much though, second one would probably be Miyahara Satoko but I don't think her last name means Palace Field, the first character is palace but the second character means something like original, her first name means wise child

Satoko's last name does mean Palace Field, that's because of the difference b/w Chinese and Japanese. In both language we have 原 means field like 田原 草原, but in Japanese it doesn't carry the meaning of origin. When referring to origin, in Japanese it is written as 元 or 本, I think you can get that 原/元 thing if you know the pronunciation in Chinese.

As for question how can we know if her name is Satoko but not Tomoko.., No we can't tell . Just like many people thought Hanyu was Habu.

The translation of "kid" for Japanese Kanji name 子 (ko) bothers me a bit. As far as i know, it does not have any true meaning, and usually appears at the end of a girl's first name. Same as 儿 for Yuna 's Korean name.
