Japanese to English translator app?

I am going to go back and rewatch videos from our wonderful forum member tsuyoboogie on the Japanese various nationals and wondered if it might work to use a translator app. Google translate IMHO is buggy and doesnt work well. Does anyone have a fav app that actually works?
