Based on Coach Vincent's Instagram, still not skating yet though. I'm actually starting to wonder if we will see him at WCC. Bundle of sunshine that I am!

ETA that looks more like a PT place than a gym - notice the people in the background in jeans and stuff.

Don't say that! :sad4: I've been consoling myself with TCC ever since I first suspected Jason might not be at Worlds'.

Uh, there's 2.5 months until TCC. And I'm not sure Vincent not showing Jason jumping videos are a great indicator that he's back on the ice nor is the fact he's doing PT. Doing PT and ice training are not mutually exclusively.

I do hope you are right.

Vincent instagrams tougher jumps usually. Jason could be on the ice again, but not up to 3A, quads or triple / triple combos.

I doubt Vincent would show video of him doing a 2A.

My two cents re the photo of Jason's Skyping:

Do not agree that the presence of people in jeans outside the room is an indicator that it is a PT room.

Although I do not have first-hand knowledge of the OTC, it would be plausible to me that some of its rooms -- whether for hard-core workouts and classes, or for PT, or for other activities -- would have glass walls so that tourists (and others) who visit the OTC can observe.

(And it would be plausible to me that tourists would wear jeans, LOL.)​

And I agree with Mrs. P and Doris that the absence of videos of Jason jumping does not mean that he is not back on the ice.

I agree - and in fact know from personal experience - that PT and training / being back on the ice are certainly not mutually exclusive. And yes there is time. And yes as someone else said Vincent shows harder jumps. I am in fact being overly pessimistic. It's because after NHK he was completely silent about training until he announced he was pulling out of Nats. It's because Kori said he'd be back on the ice the week following Nats and he hasn't tweeted "so glad to be back at it" or anything similar. It's because participants haven't been announced. I'll be thrilled if I'm wrong.
