Jason in Palm Springs a day or two ago. Frank was obviously not there at that time. Could he be working with Anthony Liu?

Maybe! I guess it depends on when that clip was actually taken (as opposed to when it was posted).
But I’m guessing it’s hard for him to be in C-S right now, because the OTC is probably a constant reminder that he isn’t at the Olympics. So I actually wouldn’t be surprised if he’s still in CA and is working with both of them.
Anthony is highly respected as a jump technician, and he worked with Jason when he was little. And since D10 sadly missed the FS, Frank may be returning soon. Jason has SOI starting in March or early April (and is still first alternate for Worlds, however unlikely it is he’ll be called), so this is really his best opportunity in the next few months to spend a chunk of time working on jump technique. Watching the FS last night, it was pretty clear to me - and I’m sure to him - that if he stays in the sport through the next Olympics, he really needs at least two solid quads, which he can do both alone and in combination, to be competitive.
I would assume his primary goal in the next season or two will be to get those quads (and his 3A and 3lo) so solid that he can do them as easily as he does his 3f-3t. But it will be tricky, because even if they simplify his programs temporarily, he still needs to do enough to keep getting great PCS. And I’m sure he will want to remain competitive for the World team, even if he doesn’t make it both years. Once he’s accomplished that, he can increase the complexity of his programs and start pushing harder for world level competitive results, to build his body of work prior to the Olympic year.
But it really will require walking a fine line. And staying healthy! One of the most sobering things to me has been seeing how the judges started marking D10 so low in PCS because of his injuries which resulted in technical struggles and poor competitive results. Something similar, though less drastic and without injury issues (to my knowledge), is happening with Patrick Chan. I would hate to see it happen to Jason.
Anyway, not sure what his team’s strategy will be, but them’s my thoughts!
