Jason Brown

I also have to give props to Jason for doing an excellent job with his social media takeover. Someone else might've been too distracted by being the eyes and ears for the fans AND having to skate so well under pressure, but he managed to do both with ease. What was in those dumplings, anyway? LOL

Yes, and I love how he made sure to cover everybody! I love the little recap clips. Jason would make a great social media manager for some organization (post skating, of course).

Jason's out and about it seems and met this super cute Chinese boys dressing in the red, white and blue: https://twitter.com/jasonbskates/status/582616664585310208

How about we just let Max Aaron handle costumes for them, i think he has good taste.

:laugh2:

I just had a mental image of the US men standing in a row and Max strolling down the line: "Not tight enough...not tight enough...really, what is that?...not tight enough...good job, Jason, much improved."

:laugh2:

So true. The Finnish commentators even mentioned that after his SP: "he's a pleasure to watch because you know that if he messes up (not that that was the case here today), it's not the end of the world. You never have to watch him on the edge of your seat".

I found that very interesting because they were clearly referring to his attitude to his own performance, not the viewer's pleasure/displeasure.

What I also like about watching Jason is that even when he does make a mistake, he keeps the performance level up and never gives up. He got a < on the second 3A in that magic Riverdance, but you would never have known it. He got a << with a big stumble on the one in Shanghai - but you have to go back and look again to remember it, because he never once faltered.

I just sprayed Diet Coke all over my keyboard...that is too funny, and the mental image of this happening makes me .

Whoops! Sorry! ;)

I do think one or two of the US men could take a lesson from Max in the costume department. Simplicity can be its own elegance.

His Gladiator costume is a total winner. It is a great example of beauty without glitter. I would be thrilled to see more men in similar costumes.

Because there are never enough pictures of Jason eating dumplings ;), here he is with Gracie and Carly Gold:

Does anyone know when icenetwork will be posting another one of his blog entries/is there a final entry? I really enjoyed his blogs and instagram takeover - they should have him do this every time!

I'd imagine we'll get something soon. I'm sure he got busy with the end of the competition and what not.

They're possibly waiting for Jason to send it to them. If he's flying home at present, it might be a little while.

Or maybe the final entry has something about WTT, and they want him to wait until they're ready to announce the team officially, in which case, don't look for it this side of Saturday.

That freaked me out....! Can't help but wonder, what exactly crosses one mind when the decision to do such a thing?

It's a pretty good PS job. It's not a simple cut and paste. So for graphic artists, it shows off skills and also probably to freak people out.

It would be pretty funny though, if there was a costume swap at the end of a competition...like soccer.

Jason and Max in WTT:cheer: maybe he will costume swap then? (Yuzu looks great as Cotton Eyed Joe:laugh:)

He's right, though. It was a look that was much more mature and it really helped to sell the program, which of course has a very mature theme.

You know, I said I liked the old costume for the colors, but seeing them close together, I have to admit I was wrong: the new costume wins hands down!

It must be photoshoped for April 1st!

Yikes. All I can say to this is that it would be a very, very bad idea for Jason to ever wear anything even vaguely resembling Yuzu's costumes. Yuzu doesn't look great but I have no words for his costume on Jason.

Ohh I think Yuzu looks very cute in the overalls. As for Jason, well my better half took one look at said "he looks like an old lady, he should never wear anything like that again" and I tend to agree, I think i would be happy with them both in overalls instead.
