I saw that 3A and it is amazing! I hope it is well rewarded and well executed. I love that they are not only working on the quad, but upping everything.

7k has been sending out some cute videos all day. I think they enjoy a parade.

Based on the preceding steps, it looks like he's practicing it as the entry for the 2nd triple axel.

(It's almost like playing hot potato. He won't two foot the jump if he only uses one.)

I think so, it really does look like it was made for that program.

It sorta makes sense. His issues with 3A seem to be more mental than physical. So he has the strength to do stuff like this, so why not try it? It shows him he is good, and he probably is going to have similar success rates with hard vs "easy" entrances since mental is going to be there either way. Plus I am sure any strength/spin faster training can't hurt.

Remember how Kori said she made the entry more complex to help with the timing as opposed to that long edge he used to hold - this seems similar except harder.

Well, the sparkly tunic is a bit more prominent in the photo than the greyblack pantaloons.... Sigh. I so much preferred the brown leathery tunic from... Nebelhorn, I think? Ah, that seems so long a ago...

Yes...for me, this is where Rohene's explanation lost it. If you're going to put too many sparkles on the tunic, then you can have some leeway with the pants.

Sigh...I sincerely hope his costumes are better this year.

The cynical part of me wonders if that is part of the motivation behind the FS. Kinda hard to do a Rohene "costume" to pretty piano music. I mean are they going to put piano keys all over him? His new free kinda lends itself to simple good looking skater outfit more than costume.

I am curious if he will do anything new with his hair.
