Jason Brown

Jason is not really an early season skater... so maybe they wanted him to have more time to work on the quad?

You know it is probably too optimistic... but if he finally got it... landing it out of the blue at Skate America without having seen it at a Senior B would make one hell of a good impression and impact. If he has it down.. then it may be more value to him to play his quad trump card on the grand prix, plus being able to land it on home soil near his home town. It's a gamble, but one that could pay off really well.

It is a nice fantasy... so i will pour another drink and try to keep it up. Still would have liked to have seen him once before for a preview.

Oh I think I realized what happened. The person who filled in the chart had a typo. They had put Tomoko Hiwatashi's name in the wrong column, and erased Jason's name.

Actually I noticed a number of typos...glad it was corrected.

But now the following has occured to me. This is Jason's schedule:

10/2 - Ondrej Nepala Trophy
10/23- Skate America
10/27 - Ice Challenge.

So he's going to Europe, has two weeks break before Skate America, then going back to Europe the next weekend. that is an insane competition schedule- he's in competition 3 out of 5 weekends in October and two of them are in time zones about +7 to +8 ahead of his MST home time zone? He must really want to be getting his programs (and quad?) out there!

most likely...or possibly even a miscommunication that Jason was being added not moved. Ohh well, looks like it is fixed. Nice to see that USFSA seems to pay enough attention to catch it and fix it. I am happy to see him back. Keep the patter going. Plus squeee we get to see more Jason!

I just can't believe Jason is flying to Austria and *skating* four days after Skate America  (or as Google Translate once again calls it from Japanese tweets "Scare Me". Last year it took me a few minutes to figure out that particular translation.) It seems insane, even if Jordan would like the company and even if he wants to work on the quad. I love me some more Jason, but :disapp: don't get it. Any ideas?

Jason's Japanese fan club just tweeted someone's instagram congratulating him for "landing your quad in your program today"!! (Sorry I can't add the link on my phone)

ETA: Here it is

Wooho! Quad! program! But how do they know ?

Re Skate America to Austria, that is a quick turnaround but since SA is quite near parent's house maybe he'll just take a day or two with them before heading to Graz. He may not need to be there for first day of practice.

She wrote also "you inspire me everyday" so I reckon she is a training mate?

I for one am glad that he's competing a lot. For selfish reasons - because more Jason is always a good thing - but also because I think that many skaters would benefit from more competitions, Tuktamysheva-style :)

This is wonderful news. Maybe we will even get a video soon. I wonder which program he landed it in.

Given that he has "landed" them in programs before, I assume she meant full-rotated one foot landed. If he can start landing them next week and keep it up, he is going to be a runaway fright train full of hype by Boston!

The Dodds brothers, Paris and Brooklee did a four-day turnaround from SLC to Germany. It's very doable.

Maybe the plan is to do a Tuktamysheva.

...and if Jason and Jordan have baggage issues I am totally going to hold you responsible for jinxing them! ;)
