While it's a great opportunity for him to be able to perform for a US audience this season, having missed much of it due to injury, I sincerely hope he does not disrupt the more important IMO longer-term rehab and healing process that he is going through in order to be fit and ready for next season and beyond. I mean, WTT is really kind of a cheeze-fest when considered across the spectrum of the full-season.

I agree, but there's still considerable time until the WTT. I also highly doubt that he will do technically packed program for this. Or at least he probably shouldn't.
I wonder who the fan's pick for the 3rd North American man will be - Patrick? Max?

.So now we know that the absence of anything on social media did not mean that Jason had not returned to the ice.
Kori's timetable that he would return a week after Nats was right on target.
By the time TCC rolls around, Jason will have had over eleven weeks of training, assuming all goes well (knock on wood). Look forward to seeing him compete again.
(I bet that Jason will be bilingual long before he turns 50

Thanks so much, Katmari, and the article once again reminding us how level-headed and grounded Jason is.
He may have returned to the ice on Feb. 1, but training the way Jason describes it? I still don't think so. But it doesn't matter because I trust Jason and his team to put his health first, which is:agree:. Even if I am anxious to see him skate

Did anyone see that Ross was added to the Ice Chips show? (Since I follow the men, that's the addition I'm interested in
I noticed and also saw that while Ross and Mirai are listed as Guest Stars, Jason is listed as Special Guest Star. (WE all know how special he is but I'm guessing the wording choice refers to him being the headliner.)
I loved this quote from the Medill article:

Thanks to Jason for the reminder of exactly why I became a fan of his and why I started caring about figure skating again.

Well Jordan was seen in pics from the Adult getaway with a wood cane, so if it is him, it is not likely recent.

I'm also fairly sure it's Ponsart...which could make it very recent.
Actually, I wasn't being a pessimist at all, just curious and couldn't identify the choreography. And actually I also thought it was Romain. No, not pessimistic at all - I think Jason looks great and am absolutely thrilled to see even a tiny clip of his gorgeous skating. Can't wait til we see more!
ETA in the baby picture he is so fast - he kinda looks like a subatomic particle racing around a particle collider!
