Jason Brown

Anyone know anything about this? Even though Laurine is not a world medal contender, she seems to be fairly popular.

I can't say that I *know* anything about it, but I did unearth (because I have nothing better to do:laugh:) a few more tidbits on Laurine at 7K:

Heather Aseltine has a photo of Laurine on her IG from a few weeks ago, general location 7K, and every other skater she photographs is at 7k:

This video of Laurine training in July on the harness is waaaay fuzzy, can't tell if it's Momument, but the Facebook comments indicate it's not France:

Verrry interesting. I don't know Laurine's English skills, although we know Yoonmi is at least bilingual French and English. And some of the posters who seem to love Laurine have not always made the nicest comments about Jason. (hard to believe, I know:eeking:) And I also know that her programs have been a mystery.

Rohene, perhaps?

In the video, Jason identified her as one of his training mates. That's all I know, though. It is interesting to wonder how and why Laurine and Yoonmi both ended up at 7K. Perhaps Kori did seminars in their countries and worked with them? Or they both met and liked her at Worlds? Or they love Jason's skating or spoke with him? I suppose it's possible that someone recommended Kori to each of them. Curious!

ETA Arriba - thanks for pic! I have to say - after I made such a huge deal about his hair, I really don't mind it now. Either it's grown in or I got used to it very quickly!

There is another close-up photo of Jason at the draw, in the Lombardia onsite reports thread, where I need to admit I do not totally hate the hair;)

And I can't find what Jason drew for the SP, but I know what my guess would be:laugh:

So, Lombardia:

Men start at 11:55 eastern time tomorrow. Jason is #18 and skates last (19:55 local time, which is 1:55 EST) in group 3, right after Jordan. Deniss V starts this group, followed by Shoma, so this is a great group!

Jason reportedly did great 3A combos and "worked on" quads. Does that mean he fell? :). ETA per YesWay in Lombardia thread, quads were Falls/pops. :drama:

^^^Love to see them keeping it rather "light hearted" during practice. Would love to see a video of Jason's practice bow fall! :luv17:

That costume looks ace!

I gotta say I love this programme a lot more than last season's...the stsq choreo is everything I could dream of and more!

Costume breakdown: between the colour and the style of the lapels on the waistcoat it looks like he's going for Burr. The cravat with the little tie are a nod to Hamilton, but the hair is now bugging me a little, because the fluffy ponytail is Lafayette or Laurens from act 1  I think they need to fix the waistcoat a little, it seemed to sit oddly in the small of his back to me.

Music cut continues to bother me, but damn does he ever sell the hell out of this. A big showstopper number is everything Jason is about. Can't believe Kori and Rohene weren't into the Hamilton idea. Still wouldn't have cut the music this way but it could grow on me.

mumbles but i'm not really very happy that he scored more than brendan did I HAVE CONFLICTING FEELINGS OKAY mumble

so Jason is in 2nd place lets keep our fingers crossed I hope I don't jinks this by speaking too soon. good luck Jason,:)

Love the SP! Very fitting for him, such a fun program that tells his personality.

His smile is contagious :luv17:
