Jason Brown

Any fellow On Ice Perspectives Patreon patrons around? The Patreon interview with Jason was excellent - he was fun, warm, exuberant (as always). My question was one of the ones picked to ask Jason, so that was fun, too.
Yes! Three points were key. He would love to skate on every ice rink in the country and has never skated at Chelsea Piers before. He doesn't know if he could do ice dance, but if he did, he would like to skate with Maddie Chock. If he did pairs, he would like to skate with Alysa, but maybe he'd rather skate with Brandon and get thrown. Looking forward to the skating videos when they are posted.

Yes you are right, I just double checked, starting June 10.

And of course in this short clip, Jason looks so natural in his pair moves with Alexa. :)

So Far Jason is not scheduled for Sun Valley, but there are two slots open. I haven't compared those dates with his Japanese Tour dates, but there may be a conflict. Usually if Jason is asked to skate Sun Valley he does it. Family vacation! He had some good times in NYC on this trip. His mom joined him for the theater.

Do you mind sharing “your” question, @ManyCairns? Please feel free to ignore if you do.

I asked how he manages to give "110%" in every single performance. The question seemed to touch him, and he first said thank you for recognizing that that's what he strives so hard to do. Then he said he also fully commits to his time off so he can recharge, and also just his love of skating enables him to be so committed to the performance.

Jordan is trying hard to give his patrons small exclusives to thank us for supporting him, and the interview was a great one. A measly $5 a month to support Jordan's amazing OIP work is well worth it!

I agree that Patreons for work like Jordan's are well worth it, and I hope I did not look like he not trying to undercut his justified attempt at fundraising. I remember the first look we had at Sinnerman from OIP.

Just curious about your one question. :)

That was a very good question. And he answered it well. Jordan asks as little as $1.50 a month to access content. I had been an early contributor and at some point stopped being one, but I started up again for Jason content. He's come a long way with his photography business! I wish USFS would use him more.
And the OnIce Perspectives trailer, as well as Jason on YouTube, confirmed that the program is for his Japanese shows.:love2:

Not next season ;)
He started working on it with Ro and it was clear it's a show program. I don't think Jason is planning too much for next season.....yet.

And he's off to Japan (This is the lounge, but the IG Stories show a view from a plane).

This does not give much time to acclimate before the show, does it? Won't it be Thursday in Japan, or close to it, when he lands?

Yes, Jason has not posted his travel posts in real time for some years, not since he had the stalker. There's usually a delay of a day or two.
He flew to Japan from Monterey Mexico. That was on Monday. Team Jason Brown, a Japanese Instagrammer, welcomed him to Japan earlier this week. I'm anticipating content from that source. There were a few photos from FOI practice and a fun shot with Satoko and Mai.
