At any rate, Jason appears in the video of Daniel biking and sightseeing in Chicago, so they at least spent a day touring in the city. It looks like they were having a lot of fun.

It's exciting news for sure! It appears that Daniel will be premiering the program at THE ICE in Japan. I have wondered if Jason might eventually coach with Ro's team in Chicago.And who had Jason becoming a choreographer on their 2022 bingo card!

Jason posted an instagram showing him headed off on a plane from OHare. The two previous posts were a photo of an earlier seminar that he did in Peru and the words "See You Soon!" So I infer from this that he is on his way back to Peru to do another seminar.

Jason and Karen and Ashley and Kait Weaver are now in Boston as the Excel Competition. Jason was announcing skaters as they came on the ice to compete. He's starting to look like he's living the life of a non competitive skater, but we'll see! He's enjoying what he's doing.

Jordan Cowan just posted part two of his video session with Jason from June. He skates quite a bit of his new Impossible Dream program, but it wasn't trained yet. He might debut it in August. Right now the content is only available to subscribers of Jordan's Patreon. It's about 29 minutes and is unedited.

Maybe we will see the Impossible Dream in The Ice. I don't think Jason was expecting to be assigned a live performance at FaOI, so we saw Memory" instead.

I might be seeing things that aren't really there but in watching the video of Jason's ID it seemed to me like he was skating with absolute and total freedom. Maybe, just maybe, not having the spectre of competition hanging over his head will be a good thing. I love this program and I think it could go down as one of his most iconic skates.

He did say in the original video that when this was recorded he had not yet trained it, so it was still rough. It does have two jumps and some complex spins and things didn't go super smoothly. What he posted was an edited clip. But yes, he looks great. He's in great shape so that he can give the audiences his best skating self at the shows he is doing.
Whether he decides to continue competing or not, what is clear is that he's not training for competition right now. he's training for shows. His show content is incredible. And he seems to enjoy living life this way for now.
