Filled with good anticipation for Jason's skate, and far less of the nervous fear. We know we don't need to worry about the dreaded Q word, and how wonderful that is.

(Jason is of course so special that I will watch his skate live, even though another sporting event of some importance to me is taking place At. The. Exact. Same. Time as the men's free. Too bad, so sad for most of the others, but not Jason. )

I was supposed to go to an event today that would keep me from watching both the NFL and the men's free. Sadly, my husband tested positive for COVID this AM (he is not feeling great, but not terrible either.) Even though, according to CDC, I don't have to isolate I am not going to the event, because it is in a friend's home and if I test positive tomorrow I would feel terrible. All of that said, I am probably a horrible person because I'm kinda happy that I will now be able to watch Jason live and also watch some of the football today.

Rooting for said other sport event from down here in VA, but will be watching Jason. And the rest of the Men's field. The practice yesterday looked very, very good.

By not going to the event, you're being a responsible person and a good friend, so it seems to me that being able to watch Jason/football is just a by-product. IMO you deserve something good to come out of this tough time...and besides, ain't nobody here gonna tell on you.

I have rewatched it a half a dozen times already. Again-I take nothing away from the champion that Ilia is, but it is Jason who never fails to move me. What a treat. So glad he will be going to World's. Simply the best.

Congratulations to Jason on his silver. Both programs were just amazing. He and Rohene are a match made in heaven. Gorgeous choreo, and Ro really "gets" Jason. I guess he should after all this time, right?!

I realize nationals scores can be overblown, but Jason's score would have won Europeans by 10 points.
