Jason Brown

I didn't even think of the "Adios" portion of the lyric (don't know the song and had to look up the lyrics). 😢

I prefer to believe Jason is focusing on the lyrics he used in the video caption:

The decision is mine
The decision is mine
So let the lesson be mine
Let the lesson be mine
The decision is mine
The decision is mine
'Cause the vision is mine
The vision is mine

But that could also be part of an adios. Ohhhhh no (even if these past few years were "bonus years")😫

Thoughts? Do we take this literally?
they're saying the same on another site and it's ruined my day :(

After further reflection, I just can't believe that Jason, after being so coy in every single interview, maybe Milano, maybe not, we're taking it one year at a time.

Has all of a sudden decided and has decided to communicate that through the title of his SP song?

No, that is not and never has been Jason's style.

Saying "The vision is mine!" through an SP. That is Jason's style. :)

I think it's another way of being coy and keeping the door open, while allowing himself to consider possibly closing it. The previous posts were all about "OPTIONS" and I think that is the message he's focusing on. But he's not ruling out an endgame.

What we know is that he is preparing for Nationals and doing shows. And if he's asked to join the World's team, he'll do it. He's committed to nothing else publicly. But this is a hint that the end of his competition career might be an option that he's considering. He's telling us that he'll stay or go on his terms and he's said that in many ways. But that title says something that we need to listen to. I can't wait to see the program! He MIGHT debut it at Sun Valley?

He and Ro might also be teasing us knowing that people will be obsessing over the lyrics. I just don't want to believe Jason would use a program to communicate his retirement. I would hope he's a little more sensitive to his fans' feelings. 🤞

I am not embedding because it is an account of someone attending the festival, but Jason is leading classes at the USFS Excel Festival and competition this weekend (second post is a video)

I have also seen posts from attendees with Jean-Luc Baker and Starr Andrews:

(Side comment not related to Jason: Folks in Austin, where the festival is being held, are more polite than Aston, Pennsylvania. In this video, they have a "Beware of Flying Pucks" sign on their hockey glass. IceWorks in Aston had to change that word to "Objects" as it was being, um, altered..... by hockey players, not figure skaters, I'm sure 😁 )

Thank you @YukiNieve

Very Sinnerman-esq. The movements, the choreo, the steps, all with that Sinnerman abruptness and power. The staccato feel of the song even has some echoes of Nina Simone. Can't wait to see as it is more developed.

And hearing "The decision is mine!" over and over again, how appropriate for Jason. :)

Jason's SP Adios at The Ice in Nikko
Oh wow - another fantastic programme!

I've noticed that over the last couple of seasons even more improvement in Jason's expression - he's now using not just his upper body as a whole, and his arms, but also lately, his hands to highlight points in expression - brilliant attention to detail.
