Jason Brown

Jason doing the promotion for SOI, with his usual Jason effervescence, on Minneapolis daytime TV:

(starts at about 33:00, five minutes long)

Fun segment, he always comes across as genuine and likable.

Jason will headline Sun Valley on Ice on August 23.
And...who is in the picture?😂

That's Danny O'Shea. He and Ellie Kam are performing the weekend before Jason, I believe. They'll fix the photo. Jason is there on August 23rd.

Jason with back to back assignments in the GP:eek2:

The good thing is, he should have good memories of Skate America in Lake Placid (his first GP ETA: not LP, oops ) and of Finland overall.

And that if Ilia isn't going to SA, USFS chose Jason.

Hope Jason has a great time in historic Lake Placid. :)
But I'm not understanding your comment about good memories?
Jason was not at 2017 Skate America in Lake Placid.
His first-ever GP was 2013 Skate America in Detroit, after Lysacek withdrew a couple of weeks in advance -- opening up a slot for an alternate, who was Jason.

I am sorry, you are right, I have no idea why I thought 2013 was in Lake Placid. Senior moment :palmf:

I was at that SKAM in Lake Placid and Adam was there. But it's in the same time zone as Toronto and a short flight to either Montreal or Albany. Then a long drive to Lake Placid. But his parents will enjoy being there. I wish I was going! That would be so much fun! Jason got the toughest lineups of the GPs as usual. Finland is super stacked. And Skate America is no picnic either. But Jason has good training time ahead. And he'll have fun!

I like Jason's Grand Prix assignments. He will do fine .Skate America and Finland, Go Jason! Jason will probably skate in CS competion before his Grand Prix assignments. 😊

I think the team of Rohene and Jason is much like the team of Michelle Kwan and Lori Nichol. It's made in heaven. This time of year I'm always anxious to hear what Jason's new programs will be - and hopefully there is no Tarzan in the future. While I grew to appreciate it at the end of the season, not hearing that woman wail anymore is a blessing,

I saw a choreo clip that might be a starting pose and move. It looked lyrical. Whether it's short or long, I don't know. But Ro was dressed in a spiffy outfit and Jason was in black practice clothes. No clues on music. But they are working. They are a legendary team. Ro is so great at figuring out a game plan that maxxes the point potential. He's a genius at that. Tarzan was an outlier. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best program for Jason. I actually never loved Tristan and Iseult that won Nats for Jason in 2015, and I was glad to see the end of that. Coming on the heels of Riverdance was tough. And then they used the same composer for the tragic Inner Love program that never gelled. But there were so many totally brilliant masterpieces of choreo that those two worked out. Sinnerman was incredibly great! And I really liked Love is a B*tch. And so many others. But I'll never forget Sinnerman! Jason does jazzy very well! And Ro fully understands the genre.

Sinnerman was a masterpiece on so many levels. I studied and taught the Horton technique and Ro infused SO much into that number.

I do think it will be Jason's last season, :( although what do I know? I thought, and I think Jason thought, that Beijing would be his last year and look what happened.

The full court social media press, although great for fans, seems to imply that. :)
