Javier Fernandez

Guys I got a Kobe ticket which I was so looking out for. BUT had to buy it on resale and the price is like 4x its original value.
However since the trip would be a waste if I cannot see Javi and I am not sure if I can see him in Japan next year, I had to give in.:palmf:

why he is always arriving late to the practice? no wonder why he forget the routines, ahh why I love him so much, Im gonna kill him

I saw something that Javi just took a flight from madrid to japan yesterday so it means he's going to be in Japan today now right?
But if he is skating tomorrow, I wish the jet lag doesn't bug him.

He was there for the Thursday practice sessions - no pictures from Wednesday, though.

The organizers are pretty jealous of all content it seems, but a clip by the Olympic Channel was posted - Prometo plus pics of Man of La Mancha (and Prometo). Also, OC will be posting a short interview soon

Edit: Some additions from Sunday. Javi did the T-shirt bazooka with Carolina Kostner. Posed for a photo with Stephane Lambiel, Ari Zakarian and one of the cast skaters. Plus a pic of tired (I am sure he watched the Champions League final which was on middle of the night in Japan) Javi and Misha Ge, "Double Trouble".

And that's just about 90% from 3 days of shows, not excatly and avalanche... But if anyone who reads Japanese and follows the media there finds any comments etc,. on Javi, please feel free to post!

Tomorrow (Monday May 28) one of the Makuhari shows will be on TV (BS Asahi at 9 pm Japanese time), so hopefully Javi's performance(s) are included and clips end up online.

Edit 2 Man of La Mancha was his number in the broadcast yesterday. This is so far the best quality upload.

FoI broadcast tonight had a beautiful clear copy of the new program.... and I love it.

And here is Prometo - sometimes your wishes are granted faster than you can ever expect! (Even though it is missing the first 15 s or so.) He also did a 3A in the opening.

Edit 1 Man of La Mancha (4T, 3A among other jumps - not bad in a show in the dark and sppotlights!)

Edit 2: A bit vague report from Kanazawa practice where Javi apparently had talked with a journalist (Akiko Tamura) and said that basically next Euros, but they are his last and that he will not maybe even try to win (https://twitter.com/crazykuroneko/status/1003639991535218688). Still talking about Euros then...

Edit 3: A day off golfing with Evgeni Plushenko (Hope you caught Javi's IG story where he actually hits the ball - his first try with golf in May 2016 during SOI Canada was not so successful.

Sonia Lafuente asked Plushenko under his golfing foto with Javi if he really let Javi drive the golfcar :laugh2:

And here's is full Prometo from FaOI with the beginning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjE7dWlZEGM

Not a whole lot from Heroes & Future 2018 show in Nagano last weekend. There is one video from the practice with a brief interview, pics from Maia Shibutani and Rika Kihira as well as a group photo from Elvis Stojko. Fleeting glimpses in some of the news clips and on social media (Gwendal Peizerat was very active).

And now he is already in Kobe for the second part of Fantasy on Ice - travel day yesterday apparently, with Plushenko.

Oh yes, and more artists confirmed for Revolution On Ice: Diana Navarro will be there again.

 OMG, that is the one regular show I never would have imagined that Javi would participate! He does have some old and current programs on opera music, but nothing particularly great... And what annoys me SO MUCH is that I am very likely not be able to go there because of some work stuff that happens on that weekend... :drama:

Kobe practices have been covered by Aljona Savchenko (There are also others with Javi in fleeting glimpses, check them out in https://twitter.com/FSIgstories if you're interested). Last night part of the team partied for the birthday of one of the cast skaters (Philip Warren) and a game of Twister was part of it... Jorge giving Javi a helping hand - a manager really committed to his job!

The shows start today in just a couple of hours. As per usual the latter part is slightly different from the first leg of the tour and it seems that Javi will be doing at least the Matador/Torero routine.

Edit: Japan Open participants partly announced and guess what? Javier Fernández is among them... Getting a bit of flak on social media for changing his mind - he reportedly said in the fan meeting in Osaka in April that he would not participate. :rolleye:
