New interview with Javier Raya:

http://www.absoluteskating.com/index.php?cat=articles&id=2015javierraya

From the way the article is worded, it sounds like Brian Orser is going to be coaching him too?

Thank you for posting the interview! It does sound like Brian is coaching him too, and from what I've seen on his IG, he's in Toronto right now. I wonder if it will just be a one-season thing or he'll stay there permanently, Javier does go to college in Spain after all, and Brian seems to have his hands a bit full at the moment. Nevertheless, if he does stay at Toronto, I'm sure he'll improve a lot :)

Copying this from Yuzuru's thread for the information regarding Javier Raya's stay in Toronto:

It seems like he's only training in Canada for the summer (as it's been his tradition for 6 years!) and will part for Spain soon. He said he's been working on his programs and also on getting a 4T :cheer:
There are some really nice pictures in his blog post including a human pyramid with Sonia in there, as well as his 4T attempt with a harness :)

It seems that Javier Raya will be coached full-time now by Brian Orser and Tracy Wilson. His goals are a top-12 finish at the 2016 Euros, and he wants to qualify for the final at Worlds in Boston. I remember how hard he tried to qualify just to make it to Worlds last season, and he couldn't get the TES minimum...between that and Fernandez's success, it must be huge motivation for him to want to do better. Good luck to him.
