Just a coincidence that Damon and Eric also are visiting Australia right now??
(I know that Ricky does not train with them. So I mean just a coincidence as fellow Team USA skating folk?)​

I had seen a tweet from a random person yesterday that seemed(?) to refer to a Josh fall (again, at this weekend's shows, I think). But the random tweet did not mention an injury :think:.

Don't mean to be alarmist. Unless other information comes to light, will hope that the sling is out of an abundance of caution for something not serious.

Given that he doesn't look to be in any sort of cast or brace, I wouldn't think it's anything serious. I've had a few arm/shoulder injuries and have always been put in a brace or cast. Just a sling means it ought to be fairly minor. Just my totally inexpert diagnosis based on a twitter photo ;).

On another note, what a cute photo!

I believe Damon and Eric are the coaches Andrew works with on his annual trips to CO. I also recall Damon tweeting something about being in Australia around this time last year, so perhaps they come see him every now and again.

I think Andrew was in the photo from Josh's birthday dinner this year.

To my untrained speculative eye, it does not look serious. He did mention that his shoulder hurt after the fall in the SP at Worlds, so maybe if he fell during the show, it just jarred it and they wanted to be safe rather than sorry.

Ohhh, thx, karne. Now that you mention it, I seem to recall that Mirai also had tweeted a photo or two with Andrew.
But until your post, it hadn't occurred to me that Damon and Eric are on Team Andrew.
:cool: Cool that the coaches get to take the Denver-Sydney "shuttle" ;) once in a while.

One last off-topic, ha! Minor correction, in this case - it would be the Denver - Brisbane shuttle. ;) (Actually, I don't think you can fly direct from Denver to Australia or vice versa anymore. Have to go through Dallas Fort Worth or LAX.)

This is why I only look at these things on work breaks. Much easier to get away with AWWWWWWWWWWW when you're not in a room full of people! :)
