Julianne Seguin & Charlie Bilodeau

This is really concerning and sad to hear. Wishing him a speedy and more importantly complete recovery... they are both still very young, especially for pairs skaters.

So happy for their NHK FS last night! I love the song and the choreography for it. Wish they had placed a level higher though. The LaLa Land program by the Russian couple I didn't think warranted the 3rd place finish. Judge 6 was biased I think.

Here's my fancam of Julianne's & Charlie's winning SP from the Skate Canada Challenge (1080p): https://vimeo.com/285714535

I also recorded their LP and the Senior Pairs medal ceremony, but because my videos are very large files, they tax my daily upload limit for Dailymotion and my weekly upload limit for Vimeo, so you'll have to be patient.

Thank you again for the free skate video!!!

I really hope they make the Olympics :luv17:

I congratulated Julianne and Charlie on their victory after the ceremony, and they were kind enough to let me take a picture with them (although I only realized after I got home that I forgot to ask them for their autographs :hslap: ). They were very friendly, and I wished them good luck for the Canadian Championships. :)

I really hope they make the Olympics :luv17:

Me too! Please make this happen, figure skating gods!

Good luck to Julianne and Charlie in the Free Skate! Glad Julianne quickly recovered from the fall on the SBS in the SP. Love seeing both of these programs from them this season. They haven't been skated enough. The choice of the music for the LP is so beautiful, one of my new faves of theirs.

It's official: Julianne and Charlie are going to the Olympics!

Soooo glad! They hit everything in that free skate pretty much and it culminating in the Olympics was a lovely reward for their persistence in getting through health issues to win the Silver! That free skate is now one of my fave programs of theirs next to Whiter Shade of Pale.

I'm so happy they're going to the Olympics.
Their partnership is truly special and I hope we continue to see them grow and become better.

Here's the RDS (the French version of TSN) coverage of their Nationals performances, in case some of you might be interested in the French commentary.

Although I had filmed these with my camera (which creates 1080p videos) from my friend's TV screen, the quality is fairly good for this type of recording. I don't have a tripod, so I did my best not to move my hands as much as possible.

Lovely short program today. They hit their side by side jumps! Great placement in the SP. Happy to see them on Olympic Ice!

So happy for their Olympic performances!!! They were amazing and beautiful and have such a promising career ahead! Their energy is truly special I hope they continue like this and I'm sure we will see them take more podiums in no time.

Julianne and Charlie were so great! I hope they have a great worlds - although I worry if Canada will be able to keep three spots - I believe D/R won't be competing there and that could make things really tough.
