How do you know he has a "bright future in ice dance" btw?

Who knows what future any 16 year old has? He is eligible for juniors for another couple years.

I do note that his 2 axel looks significantly better than it has. He may get that 3A yet.

Just watched the YouTube vids...

I really liked that Jason Brown. This is the first time I've seen him skate (didn't watch the regular JGP events). Very smooth, interesting and enjoyable style. I like his costume and little ponytail too.

Brown reminds me a little of Scott Hamilton. Fun to watch. He's way too short for ice dance. Josh Farris's spins are wonderful. Hope these two can finish atop the podium.

The not trying of the jump is the most negative for his career in singles if he wants to have one and skate in seniors. I don't know what his career plans are and if he wants to continue after Jr.

He's like every skater at 16. He wants to go to the Olympics. So he'll keep trying to learn the 3A.

He's talked in some interviews about having to relearn to jump based on the boot change and getting 5 inches taller in a short period of time didn't help that at all! He works HARD. Grant Hochstein recently FINALLY got control of his 3A and he's 20.

Actually he will be 17 in a few days and he still looks a very short guy. Maybe he will actually grow a bit taller later?

Thanks so much for the videos!!! Great job, Josh! and oh, oh, oh, how I do love to watch Jason skate. Here's hoping he conquers the triple axel so we get to watch him in thrive in seniors when he is ready; but, I'm glad he still has time in juniors and hope he reaches all his goals along the way.

Good to see that the US has a bright future in men's skating with Jason Brown and Joshua Farris. Some of the older skaters who haven't skated to their potential like Adam Rippon better be worried about these two kids when go Senior.
