2025-26 Junior Grand Prix Final Men's Short Program

Well, that was a real shame. The fall on the 3A took me by surprise; I thought he had it. Lots of speed and great skating skills, but he’s got to be clean. Hopefully he’ll di better in the free.

I yelped at that 3A hard fall, poor Taiga 😭 😭 😭

Still, watching him skate after Lucius really made me appreciate how fast and smooth Taiga's skating skill is - compared to Lucius' rather slow and stiff skating.

Is anyone else distracted by that profile video of the skater playing at the back? Looks rather creepy & unnerving to me 😅

Taiga :( I really thought he had a chance at getting on the podium here, especially after a great competition at Jr Nationals :/

Now that you point it out, yes. A photo would do.

Habin is such a power skater. He is learning to control that power under pressure and develop the rest of his skating. After such a high at home, we are seeing a bit of a letdown. He will learn how to manage his efforts from this.

Habin also struggling, though I guess the Ranking competition just happened. :(

I could see some movement happening with the Free, but what an accomplishment for Denis to be in the top 3 after the SP :)

But then I see a top that looks verrry familiar and get happy again.

Wow! CHOI Habin (KOR) took an old FS and re-worked it into an SP.

That must be so hard to do. When you have that muscle memory from the longer version.

My youngest kid did the same when she moved up to Advanced Novices last season. She turned her old Basic Novice FS (which I absolutely loved!) into her Advanced Novice SP. And in the process, it lost a lot of it's magic.

minkyu has such great skating skills, and his first to jumping passes were so great to look at. but that 3-3.. the flip had me scared.

Minkyu has learned to pace himself from last year and gives us a very nice Moonlight program that is smooth and steady.

A lovely skate and step sequence by Seo. I think he has one of the best 3As by a Korean male. He covers a lot of ice and doesn’t do the 5-minute telegraphic setup that the rest of them do.
