Juno-the film

I just wanted to put in a good word for Juno. I saw it this weekend, and it was a great film. It's a bit of an odd comedy/heart-tugger about a teenage girl who gets pregnant, and the people who want to adopt her baby. It stars Ellen Page, Michael Cera, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman and Allison Janney.

All of the performances were great. The movie was both very funny and very touching. I'd highly recommend it.

I just saw the movie on Sunday. I was going to post a review but you beat me to it. My husband and I both loved it. We laughed and cried at the same time. One of the best films to date. I thought the lead actress Ellen Page (a Canadian girl) did a great job. Also the movie is filmed in Vancouver and lower mainland area and directed by a Canadian director - Jason Reitman. Not bad, eh?

Pag'e'ss boyfriend in the film, Bleeker, is also a Canadian (Michael Cera). Plenty of Canadian connections in this one.
