Kaetlyn Osmond

But I LOVE you VB for coming to her defense the last 24, misspelled or not. Thank you!

And Mr. ummm, 4everchan, YOU actually met her this weekend, an event you had not even planned on attending?
So jealous here. :gaah: Okay, you have taken my heart out, would you also like a lung? Watch out, as lawn darts are being tossed your way from Halifax, so don't forget to....duck! ;)

yup... i even touched her shoulder ;) as I was just passing by but had to tell her how great she was... i never talk to people... even less touch them... but she was in the middle of like12039120938 little skater fans... so i just touched her shoulder gently to get her attention so i could congratulate her..

about size... well most skaters are tiny... (except dreamboat and Nik) and Kaetlyn, compared to other girls who are not skaters would not be noticed for her height... BUT.. if you put her next to all the other girls on the ice, she is about 5 inches taller than the other ones... i saw her next to lil bet... a world of difference ;)

Just wanted to say that she is one of the very few foreign skaters I like (considering that I follow only Russian ladies :) )

It's much easier to follow someone from your own country in your own language but it's also natural to appreciate skaters from any country just for his/her skating and maybe personality, even looks. I was a big fan of Yagudin and G/G. Currently I love Anna among all amazing the Russian Ladies. Also cheering for Liza to come back to her glory.

So wildly different are the routines of the world’s top two female skaters. Sorry to say, but Medvedeva’s new routines look like carbon copies of the ones from last year. It’s the fragile, big eye, dealing-with-death look. The music titles might be different, the look is not. At the end of her short program, Medvedeva takes her last breath, apparently depicting a soul rising from the body to look back down on it, before death. (Oh my.) But resurrects herself for the long, skating to the lovely Joshua Bell, he of “The Red Violin” fame, playing on his own 1713 Huberman Stradivarius violin. And that violin of his can make you weep.
it's funny how some people can't just talk about their fave without bringing the opponent in and bashing him/her a little bit

Only just realised Kaetlyn has gone back to her old routine for SP. I'm really happy for her, since she'll need every best possible chance to be in the contention at Olympics, and that first SP in the season was just not cutting for me. I think I might be more happy than I should be. :hap93:

sorry but you did it yourself (to a lesser extent of course) .... why did you need to bring up that you only follow Russian ladies? tell us why you like Kaetlyn instead.... that's more constructive isn't it?

GREAT JOB KAETLYN! Well deserved performance and score in the SP! That was such a highlight for me after so many ho-hum performances.

Good Luck in the LP!

So proud of Kaetlyn! I dream of seeing her on the Olympic podium. Hopefully with a gold or silver medal. ;)

They could throw more marks at this sp of hers and I would not be upset. It is my favourite women's sp this or last season.
