a quick question, because her instagram is making me bummed that she isn't skating, how difficult would it be for Kaetlyn to return to competitive skating if she didn't compete again next year? i.e. being entitled to grand prix spots etc. Cause I remember there being some rules about Gracie Gold returning and entitlement to spots etc, and wondered how that would affect Kaetlyn if she hadn't made up her mind whether to return to competition next season or not :(

Not difficult. There are mechanisms for returning skaters, and Skate Canada would obviously give her a host spot.

How about 'THIS' prediction from the Brits, at Kaetlyn's first ever Worlds. She finished 8th at the age of 17, in her debut in what would eventually be a step towards her future as a World and Olympic podium champion. As mentioned in the clip by the commentators, "you could be looking at a future World Champion".

Indeed!

She also earned Canada 2 spots for Sochi by placing 8th. If she hadn't been injured, she probably would have been on the world podium before 2017! Really going to miss her.

Looking back at Nebelhorn after her return to skating and her being a different skater.

Love the line at the 10:30 mark, "maybe she'll be scoring in the mid 120's or even crossing the 130's, I have high hopes fo her". The future def., looked bright as the potential was always there. How about a 152.15 from her 119.00 days. What a comeback after experiencing such a major injury.
