Kaetlyn Osmond

Kaetlyn supports the Toronto Humane Society in their pet food drive (see her Instagram). Really like this about her. She was enthusiastic about the puppy surprise with Alina as well, so it's clear she's a great animal lover.

I also like the little clip of her driving a boat.

In the past when asked about future plans it didn’t seem like she had anything particularly definite in mind beyond skating (compared to, say, Nathan Chen’s Yale/medical school plans). I can understand wanting to take stock of things now, especially after this tumultuous quad that ended in such a spectacular fashion.

However, as I’m attending Skate Canada this year: boo! *throws tomato*

I wonder if she’ll return next season at all. She seemed very motivated to regain her national title so maybe she’ll be back in time for the Canadian championships

Very disappointed as I'd hoped to see her live this season. But best of luck to Kaetlyn.

Kaetlyn will not be competing in the 2018 Grand Prix series:

Sad here, but not unexpected given her schedule since Worlds and the Olympics. Having won more medals this season in major comps., than any other female skater and the demands of her schedule with tours, interviews, media and her recent endorsements, I know she must feel exhausted! I remain hopeful for her return but understand that Kaetlyn knows herself best, and her future is for her to decide. :sad21:

As reported on another Thread http://www.thethankyoucanadatour.ca/

Explains why she is missing the GP season. The tour includes 30 smaller communities from Oct. 5 to Nov. 24, and no SOI tour cities included. Tessa said in a release they want to visit cities that don't ordinarily get skating productions because they know how important grassroots programs are in small towns.
