Katarina Wolfkostin (born October 9, 2004 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA) and Jeffrey Chen (born July 21, 2002 in Hayward, California) are ice dancers who represent the United States internationally. Wolfkostin and Chen became a team at the beginning of the 2019-2020 season.
The team qualified to represent the US in the 2019-20 ISU Junior Grand Prix by scoring well at qualifying competitions, the Chesapeake Open, and Lake Placid IDC.
They are the 2021 U.S. junior national champions, the 2021 JGP Courchevel champions, the 2020 U.S. junior national silver medalists, and the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics bronze medalists. They have qualified for the 2021-22 Junior Grand Prix Final.
The team is coached by Igor Shpilband, Pasquale Camerlengo, Adrienne Lenda, and Natalia Annenko-Deller. Their choreographers are Igor Shpilband and Pasquale Camerlengo.
Previously, Katarina competed in ice dance on the Junior Grand Prix with Howard Zhao, with whom she was the the 2017 U.S. national intermediate and 2018 U.S. national novice ice dance champion. Jeffrey competed nationally in the US at the novice level with Gianna Buckley, with whom he was the 2018 national novice silver medalist. He also danced with Layla Karnes and briefly with Anna Lavrova. Jeffrey also competed at the novice level in men's singles, and is the 2018 US National novice silver medalist. Jeffrey is the brother of 2017 US ladies singles champion, Karen Chen.
