A new Kazuki fashion shoot is being released on Friday!
FUTURE ARCHIVE, a project that opened an actual store in Harajuku this July, will release a limited edition magazine produced in collaboration with the independent magazine "STUDY. Inside the magazine are interviews with the fashion brands RANDY and JIAN YE, which have been shrouded in secrecy until now, as well as a fashion project featuring figure skater Kazuki Tomono, saxophone player Qi Matsumaru, and YouTuber Tsukasa of the three-person YouTuber group "Pokerz" as models. On the cover, musician and DJ Kirin is photographed by model-turned-photographer Yota Hoshi.
Looks very cool, and it seems this website ships internationally!?

Aahhh I cannot wait for another fashion shoot from Kazuki! I really loved the SPUR one and he's been a stylish columnist for NON-NO :love2: but I don't mind if they explore a high-fashion concept and style in different direction for him.

Very happy that both Kazuki and Mai WD from Kinki too, for Kazuki, looking forward to see him at Nebelhorn and JO!

Thank you for posting! It's nice to see him involved in such an experimental project and trying these sort of outfits! I don't really understand much about fashion but I think he makes it work.

In other news, his latest Mainichi article was published yesterday: https://mainichi.jp/articles/20230911/k00/00m/050/053000c (as usual, behind a paywall). This time, it's about the positioning of his blades and how even a millimetre makes a difference 🤯

Also, yesterday, Mitsuki Sumoto posted that he and Kazuki went to see the Hanshin Tigers


and a Chinese fan shared this poster of Kazuki at Cup of China! I couldn't really verify the source, so I'm not sure it's official and if there are similar posters for other skaters, but this looks nice!


Finally, non-no announced that Tomono's monogatari vol 27 is being published today at around 5pm Japan time 😍

Thank you for posting! I loved this article too. Some impressions:

- Wow I never thought I'd read so much about trainers! He really puts a lot of thoughts into it.
- The way he talks about OPOI and especially Koza is so touching 🥹 I, too, hope Koza will be happy.
- I'm relieved to know that at the All Osaka championships, he managed to put what he'd been practising into the competition (aka having a good second half). That makes me feel confident that he'll be in a even better place at Nebelhorn (though I'm not expecting clean skates there)
- He admitted that he actually wanted to do Kinki and only WD because the schedule is too hard. He's crazy.
- So the designer of his free skate costume is Hitomi Watanabe! I'm really looking forward to seeing 'Halston' with the proper costume, I think he is right and the costume will add to the overall programme.
- Great to know he's in good spirits and looking forward to the season 😊
- He made me laugh when he admitted he also struggles with time management lol Though I think he was being too modest.

Apart from that, we got another picture from his latest photoshoot!


His sponsor HD Flower Holdings started a campaign to celebrate Kazuki's sponsorship 😍💐 The postcards look so cute, and I already saw several fans saying they have placed their orders already.
 
In other news, check out Misha's IG post! He's posted IG stories with all the girls, so I assume he will post it with Kazuki too.
Also, apologies, but the jacket is actually black with grey sleeves, not grey with black sleeves like I said before 😅 But yes, this is the jacket I had seen in the background of Misha's stories with Rion!

It is a really great article / column by Kazuki!!! One of the things I love the most is his explanation about specifically choosing a milk glass mug for his merchandise. He is right, it does have a vintage feel, and after reading his NON-NO columns it feels very him to choose something that may not be practical (well, that's what the towels with his name are for) but has an unique, vintage vibe as something to purchase and treasure.

(Am I saying this because I want the glass mug? Yep 😂)

Honestly, same. This mug would not be practical for me as I drink coffee and English black tea a lot, as opposed to just milk, so the mug would get stained very easily. Still, I would buy it in a heartbeat if I could 😅

If it can help you, this mugs really look like coffee cups in use in French cafés 2-4 decades ago. They were sturdy, so if it's the same item, it's less likely to arrive in Europe as a puzzle. There remains the re-shipping costs and the custom taxes...

Thanks for posting, I watched this interview by HD Flower with auto-translated subtitles, and really enjoyed it.

The main point for me was when the interviewer told Kazuki about the overwhelmingly positive response the company had been receiving from Kazuki fans following the sponsorship announcement. That's really amazing, and I hope it encourages HD Flower to continuing supporting Kazuki for a long time :pray:

Then, Kazuki said that thanks to the support he's been getting from companies, he is now in a position in which he can focus solely on skating. This made me so happy 😭 He must have felt awful last season when he was feeling financially insecure, and looking back, I think that was one of the reasons he was so inconsistent in the beginning of last season. It's great to know the issue has been resolved!

Apart from that, Kazuki celebrated on Twitter the fact that the Hanshin Tigers won the Japanese baseball league for the first time in 18 years!

Yesterday Kazuki attended the Men free skate at JGP Osaka! Here's a message from him:


and it SPUR magazine released information about their photoshoot and interview with Junhwan Cha: Furthermore, in the interview, there are scenes where he talks about hints about future programs, memories from summer ice shows, and his close friend Kazuki Tomono!
So cute! Hopefully we will know what he said about Kazuki, they have known each other since the junior days 🥹
