Saaaaaaame... I really miss his skating :sad21:

Check out this cute fan art of Kazuki and Mitsuki: https://twitter.com/colorful1505/status/1296309197923991552
They are both baseball fans and Tiger Hanshin supporters

Also, TBT to JGP2016... So cute, I really wish he'd consider going back to this hairstyle as it really suits him.

It seems Kazuki's online talk with Mitsuki Sumoto was a lot of fun!

Kazuki said his favourite programmes from Mitsuki are 'Hero' and 'The Feeling begins'. Mitsuki's favourite programme by Kazuki is Daft Punk.

This one I couldn't understand very well, it's like the programme they would want to skate from each other? It seems for Mitsuki is 'An American in Paris'

Check out these hilarious screencaps

You understood well! It says which programs of each other they'd like to try skating to. Kazuki picked Mitsuki's Singing In The Rain - yes! Plz make that happen! I sooo want to see Kazuki skate to that. It would be a fantastic program for him.

ROFL at the screencaps. Kazuki's ideas... ^ ^ And Mitsuki's deadpan face is priceless :p

Thank you! I agree, it would be an amazing programme for Kazuki!

Couple more screencaps, can I just say, their skin looks so flawless, I want their skincare routines

In different news, someone translated this hilarious bit from Kazuki's interview with Kiss & Cry magazine:

"keiji and i converted everyone to tokai on air but I'll have you know I'm the older fan (´_ゝ`) "
"oh no must have been so devastating for you.."
"he kept it a secret from me.. keiji said to me one day 'im gonna be in a yugioh vid on youtube so keep an eye out'
- and I was like ok, is he going to be on the official yugioh channel or what.. then I saw him on tokai oa and immediately texted him 'WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS' i learned the importance of sticking to your hobbies.. keiji's yugioh love is no joke!!"

Poor Kazuki, he was SOOOOOOO jealous of Keiji for appearing on Tokai on Air!

Great news everyone! :yahoo:
The Dreams on Ice show is back, and Kazuki is scheduled to appear!
It'll be held on 12-13 September without spectators! But there will be a paid stream and, even better, accessible to those outside Japan (as long as your credit card works and your country doesn't block foreign streams)
https://twitter.com/tbschannel/status/1298835185346125826
Here's a list with full cast: https://twitter.com/figureskatingm1/status/1298843194126262273

It seems the skaters will perform their SP on the first day, and FS so effectively it's like a mini-Japanese test skates?
HOWEVER the issue (for me at least) is that the dates coincide with the Russian test skates, I don't think my heart can take both at the same time... :drama:

Thank you for sharing this! I also saw somewhere the event will be broadcasted on TBS alongside the paid streaming option. I kinda wonder how this works tho.

Same here. That's way too much :dbana:
What a busy weekend ahead!

Sad news, guys: It seems that the Japanese Intercollegiate Championships (Incolle) have been cancelled this season. It would have been Kazuki's last year and his only chance to defend his title :sad4:

On a more positive note, Misha announced he now has a home rink: The East West Ice Palace in California, IIRC this is the rink Kazuki visited when he had his SP choreographed by Philip Mills? In any case, hope this makes it easier for Kazuki and Misha to work together in the future!

Let's be happy then that Kazuki at least already has his Inkare victory to grace his medal collection! :) I hope to see him in a few weeks, if anyone records regionals and posts the stuff online.

No, I'm afraid Kazuki's not going anywhere at the moment, sorry if I confused you!
The news is about Misha, he has now announced the East West Ice Palace as his new home rink. He's been based in California for years, but up until now it seemed like he was travelling a lot to meet students and stuff. Now I believe he'll be fixed at this rink and more students will come to him, rather than him going to them.

I have checked and it seems it's not actually the same rink Kazuki and Philip Mills worked together last summer! It was a different rink in California :)

Thanks for your clarification tho! It's still great to hear Misha settled down a bit :)

You're welcome :) I think it's great news for Misha, and also I think it'll make it easier for him and Kazuki to schedule time together (even if virtually), since Misha won't be travelling all around the world anymore.

Less than one week now until we see Kazuki at DOI! :hap85:
Here's some broadcasting info: https://twitter.com/aim_high__/status/1301739354939817984

Also, Fuji TV announced they will broadcast all Japanese regionals and sectionals, via their FOD Premium Live (which I assume it's a paid stream?). They say it'll be available on archive: https://www.fujitv.co.jp/sports/skate/news/news200904_01.html

So Kazuki's first competition this season will be Kinki regionals, 2-4 October.
Good luck, Kazuki!

I don't know if you guys saw, but over the weekend, ISU streamed JWC 2017, and some fans noticed Kazuki & Koshiro on the stands cheering for the Japanese Ladies:

https://twitter.com/main120312031/status/1302620494730915845
https://twitter.com/pp22_yobupp/status/1302595454752813056

The funny thing is that Kazuki looks the same age as Koshiro, even though he's 4 years older

In other news, a kind fan posted a step-by-step thread on how to buy tickets to watch DOI's stream: https://twitter.com/arisuonice/status/1303204495120162823
It's been confirmed it won't be restricted to Japan only! :yahoo:
