Two different angles of Halston, absolutely majestic
Sportiva: "Kazuki Tomono also showed the style of a top skater. He swayed his silhouette like a moonshadow on the rink, stepping to the sound of the piano. He included jumps such as toeloops and axels, but more than that, his skating looked like a production, even the sound of his blades scraping the ice."
Can't believe we're seeing Halston again![]()
), as it would be the perfect program for the Olympic season and it would probably give him an edge as he seems so comfortable with it and it's also universally well received.
Someone said that Halson is Kazuki's 'Seimei' and I agree. It's a masterpiece.Usually I'm not an advocat of skaters keeping or bringing back programs, but this is one of those rare cases where I actually hope he does (I know I'm repeating myself), as it would be the perfect program for the Olympic season and it would probably give him an edge as he seems so comfortable with it and it's also universally well received.

GUYS HE'S BRINGING HALSTON BACK!!!
Was there a lot of pictures of him? There is so much Kazuki content on Twitter X today..I am so happy..

Here are two more videos of Halston:
This one was filmed from up in the stands: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwR1Aa47SBo
And this one (which I also posted in the Kassouya thread) was filmed from one of the short sides on ice level and includes the preceding Cry me a river:
Another short clip of "crazy" Kazuki in Cut my fingers off:
And a cute off-ice moment with Dai, Masamune, Ryusei and Ryota (waiting for their turn to take their bows):

Kazuki already recycled a programme for the previous Olympic season (Cinema Paradiso) and it worked really well for him, so I'm hoping he'll do the same now with Halston
Another thing that stood out for me, the quality of his movements is looking so good and polished!
Tomono Kazuki, the young leader (wakagashira) of the skating team.
Tomono-kun, this was your seat!!
Please come over for the North Air!
His movements are amazing. So sharp!
If you touch him, you'll get burned! (laughs)
Tomono-kun from the Centuries was cool.
Also, I saw many tweets from non-skating fans/other skaters' fans noting how loved Kazuki is, which I really appreciate. This comment from a Dai-chan fan: https://x.com/chokodaisuke/status/1898997895468351926
What I really felt this time was that there were a lot of Tomono-kun fansWhen we were lining up for merchandise, there were a lot of people with red bags, and when I sat in the stands on the other side, there were a lot of people with red banner towels draped over their laps
I definitely want him to go to the Olympics

God, I love Hide & Seek
and another cute pic from Daiichi Juken Group:
GUYS HE'S BRINGING HALSTON BACK!!!
Which short program does Kazuki like the most from what he has done? Maybe that should be the one he does again for the Olympic season especially if it works well for him.I'm happy for you Kirara, and I hope Kazuki scores well with it!
But NGL, Halston wasn't doing much for me personally (please don't kill me), and it's a repeat, *and* on top of that, my friend says Sota is bringing back Yesterday for the *third* freakin' time... yeah, I wish I could hear new program names. At least I can still hope for Kazuki's other program to be a new one, and one that's actually neither a warhorse, nor a slow pop song in English (Sota's got two like that, so my soul's dead today, sorry, and it'll take a while before my positivity index climbs back from sub-zero digits).![]()

How do I find the Kassouya thread? I tried looking up the different ice shows in Japan on here to get to each forum but I can't find it.

What does that all mean? You just know that he'll go on to be so successful.

Awww maybe Halston will win you over this time around. I was very lukewarm to his Cinema Paradiso V1 but ended up really enjoying Cinema Paradiso V2.I'm happy for you Kirara, and I hope Kazuki scores well with it!
