Keegan definitely has a lot more to overcome than most other N American skaters. Does he have community support? He may need to relocate to train in order to contend. He is a talent and different. I wish him much success.

Community LOVES him. I run the fan page & website and most of the comments and support are from Alaska. I get a lot of ___, AK LOVES KEEGAN!! comments and emails. It's sweet.![]()

I wasn't targeting Keegan but was speaking in general about the trend of skaters putting out their practice quads themselves in YT these last couple of years. Like I said, I don't understand it.
but again, the community is a whole lot smaller than the word "community". But he is well loved...
He trains in Anchorage Alaska (AFAIK), and there's a small niche group of skating fans, but not enough to fill even half of the sullivan arena, which is a decent sized skating/event rink.
Not trying to be a Debbie-downer... but it's difficult being an Alaska skater fan...![]()
Does he still divide his time between Ralph Burghardt in Alaska and Rory Flack-Burghardt in C-Springs?

Yes. Rory choreo'd his SP for this upcoming season.
But he is mostly coached by Ralph and Gary Irving now.
Is he keeping his LP or ?
Is he the next patrick chan or more of a johnny weir or....
No. I can announce the music once Liberty rolls around![]()

Hopefully Doris gets to go to Liberty this year, she's always gotten me video of Keegan!![]()

watching Ross Miner and Harrison Choate (junior level) too! I won't be able to get our own videos of Keegan (I'm no "techie"), but hopefully we can get some decent pics of him.

Yes, yes! Please do so.
And if you ever have a chance to talk to him or his mom, please tell them that there are Japanese fans who are rooting for Keegan for us, especially for my husband!
He LOVES Keegan's powerful jumps and spins (so do I!). Everytime he sees them, he says the same things again and again, "Keegan jumps as if he were flying into, no, flying over the board! His sit spins are just inhuman, he spins as if he does have a turbo-engine on his butt. Now it is a sport, don't you think?"
He's also decided to root for Keegan even more when I told him about some disadvantages of Keegan to be a skater from Alaska and/or not to be coached by world-famous ones such as Frank Caroll.![]()
I talk with him and his mom all the time! Me and Keegan are buddies. I'll pass your support on![]()
if you could do that for us!
