It was another happy night at GP Espoo because Kevin got a medal without a quad. A beautiful skate but still. It was unexpected for him and he was so pleased in the Kiss & Cry. So was I!

I think this win, will help him at future competitions. He skated last,and he knew how good the skaters were, but he went out and skated his heart out and he medalled. Quads are important, but getting good GOE on every element adds up. I'm so happy.

A skate where the bronze medalist was as happy as any gold medallist could be, and rightly so.

Bravo, Kevin! Honestly, the two LP skates I would rewatch are Kevin's and Keegan Messing's. I know Keegan did not have the skate he wanted but his musicality, spins and overall effort are amazing! Perhaps Kevin is morphing to the next Jason Brown- no quad but movement and musicality that draws you in!

The Challenger ranking for this season, Kevin ended up in first place, total score 494.19. So happy for him.

I'm glad Kevin is in a good place for future Europeans. He did pretty good, particularly recovering from an ankle injury. I love both his programs.
