Need to leave for work soon

Going to try to get Mai's FS linked before I go
Processed some other video earlier
Will start a post with links soon

Okay skate by Mai. Where is the 3Lz 3T? Does the TES drop significantly with two 2A 3T’s?
Seems like she's still getting a feel for the program
Maybe she'll add a 3-3 back in later?

With her only switching the +3T from the 3Lz to the 2A, it's actually surprisingly advantageous - The same BV, and a higher GOE maximum (GOE based on 3T and 3Lz, instead of 2A and 3Lz).

It feels really backward though, because a 2A, 3Lz+3T layout is obviously more difficult than a 2A+3T, 3Lz layout...

Just checked her Gensan Summer Cup FS protocol
Jump layout was the same so maybe it's what they've decided to go with for now

That does sound weird to me. So, she is being smart as her 3Lz 3T was under rotated in short. With 2A 3T she can gain more points due to higher GOE. Smart thinking on the side of their camp. Mai messed up the 3S and 3Lo. I think those are the jumps she needs to practice in preparation for the Senior Grand Prix circuit. Rooting for her.

Ok. I didn’t remember. I think I watched her 4CC. So, this is part of the strategy and I’m on board

La Strada is defitinely the most interesting music choice from the three you pointed out here (tho it's not extremely unique in itself one has to say :drama: )
so (y) to Riria

So my daily dose of watching regionals videos is here
I'll start at the bottom this time

Sumika is only 10?! She really looks tall and mature.
And skates this way
omg the bear ahh thats her mask
the bear looked like Paddington first 😅
the coach to the left is the same that sat with the boys yesterday, right?

too much Kill Bill and Butterflies floating around, so I'll go with Riria here
ah same enthusiastic coach here, nice (now I can identify him through his clapping haha)
he does a good job with the llama on his lap
ooof bad fall but she managed to finish in time, very good
she does seems to take her time when needed, not rushing too much, also good

and ten years to the future, here I am with Ayumi
hmm the two-directional spins are nice, but seem slow?
in total she seemed very cautious to me, the jumps lacked flow (that got better in second half surprisingly)
yes, she seems disappointed but her coach seems to know what to say :ghug:

Mai: still not a fan dress, esp. the "arm tattoos"
but she seems to be really fit and in shape
like that the choreo also makes use of the blades in a different way so to say

Now the chaos club, Kinki edition
Jack Miyake on the ice
oof! Hard fall after the freak fall
But glad he seems okay - plushie can wave
interesting part of the music to start with! He should really to a gala program/show collab with Rika this season, just because
good that they take it with humour in the KnC
very supportive coach as well
and he gets bonus points for the not-black trousers from me (every guy with different colour gets) :dance3:

Mitsuki: has he borrowed one of Yuma's shirts?
he somehow reminds me of Vincent Zhou
lots of associations here, sorry guys
omg super long wait for the scores, they could have gone to the restroom and come back in time

Lucas: interesting shirt!
does not exactely scream Muse for me, but it's special
rather calm first half but I'm glad he woke up when the music picks up and fought
how on earth could he save that first spin :jaw:
is he injured? strange "walk" off the ice?
haha clapping coach again I knew it

Yuto:
ha, bounus points to you Yuto
but I have to take them away for Einaudi, sorry :dbana:
he does not seem to mind his finger holders and gloves
that's the first thing everybody wants to get rid of

Tatsuya:
he could keep the costume and skate to Rhapsody in Blue next season :)
(why am I thinking this?:scratch2:)
would like to ask him how working with Massimo
the music choice is hmm not completely my taste but I appreciate the uniqueness, it's something different which is good.
nice joke in the KnC?
and he does the usual thing: free the fingers!

Sumitada:
whoa interesting costume
could have done without the voiceovers
cool slide exactely to the note :cheer:
I wish he could put more emphasis on the (internal) fight between the two characters
the drama is there, the music shows it
what about the 13 there on the horse? Does anybody know?
yes, over 200 is over 200  no matter how little

Kazuki: go little conductor! :points:
wild hair - very suitable for a musician
a little late but still great
finally letting go and drumming on his belly :laugh2:

Sorry, for the late reply 🙇‍♀️
Was in the thread updating Novice National qualifiers and just saw your posts
Yuki Mishima (三島 優生) | Facebook

Is there an error here?
On the 2022 Kinki Regional skater info sheet the furigana for his given name is shown as Haruki
I do sometimes (very rarely) find discrepancies in furigana provided for skaters between different events however, for this particular skater I've only seen his name written as Haruki
I really appreciate you asking though because I do rush and get careless at times and translate names incorrectly
It's always good for me to check and make sure 😊

I hope you will continue to follow the national championships for novice, junior and senior skaters as well. You save me with your detailed information!
So happy to know the information I'm sharing is helpful to you 🥰

I definitely plan to closely follow, post info and video for all National Championships and upcoming qualifying events (Sectionals)

However, I will be attending Skate Canada which coincides with West Japan Sectionals
@cohkaix will you be available to help keep us updated with info and results for this competition?
I'll try to post results and capture video in real time as much as possible but may need to wait for episodes to be archived for certain events
