Thanks for the links. I like the blue dance better than her LP (never could spell it right). The LP looked kind of 'rushed' out, while the SP is more polished and refined you would expect to see from the top lady today.

I was at the supermarket today and there was a big picture of Kristi on display! If you bought some cookies you would win a chance to get an autographed trading card. You could either get Kristi, David Robinson (basketball), Troy Aikman (football) or Henry Aaron (baseball) (collect 'em all! )

Kristi has had a Disney Princess life so far. She won the highest honors and accolades of her sport, followed by a pro career as the last of the truly great American figure skating entertainers, then married the man of her dreams, had two beautiful daughters, and is right on center for living happily ever after.

PS. If you click on Kristi's picture, then on "official rules" you can see a picture of Kristi standing next to 7 foot tall David Robinson.

The "official rules are, "look inside a specially marked package of Keebler's Cookies (my favorite is fudgestripes) or Cheesit crackers." "No purchase necessary." (Do they mean you can stand there and open packages of cookies until you find a Kristi, without buying anything?)

Looking at the fine print in the rules, there are 2,750 Kristi cards and your chance of winning one is 1 in 4,728. That's a lot of cookies!

Yes, in those days (minus Katarina's Carmen) music just kind of played in the backround to the skaters. I see now that Kristi took it to the next step and Michelle kind of followed in her footsteps making way for the Naomi Nari Nams and the Sasha Cohens who look artistry to a whole new level.

Well, I don't agree very much! The programs of the 80s and 90s were more original, different one from the other, more interesting to watch. And the music wasn't always background music and the artistry was good IMO: the examples are Katarina Witt, Caryn Cadavy, Jill Trenary, Anna Kondrashova, Lu Chen, Yuka Sato, Kristi Yamaguchi, Nancy Kerrigann, Maria Butyrskaya, Oksana Baiul
Obviously Michelle Kwan and Sasha Cohen are a level above.
But I don't remember a lot of original, fit with the music, interesting programs in these two years (with the exception of Sasha, Shizuka, Joannie, Yu Na 07SP, Kostner 07SP, maybe Mao 07SP)
I enjoy more watching old programs than new one, unfortunately!!!
