Hi, Tonight, december 8, I watched on the canadian channel CBC this program and it was great, unfortunately, each year, even if it is taped from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, they only show us one our of this magnificient show. All the skaters we see only once, unlike the NBC broadcast coming soon of the same show will be a complete 2 hours, I just cant wait to see the 2 hour speicial, the skaters that were there are: Jennifer, Robinson, Elvis Stojko, Sale And PElletier, Dungun and SAto, Kurt Browning, Brian Orser, Katarina Witt(Did not like her number though) and Shae Lynn Bourne, she is very surprising, she skate very well, although never saw a jump from her. the cast were all canadian except the couple of Sato and Dungeon and Witt.

From what I've seen, this was a great show, the attendance seemed to be great, Kurt is great has always, Jamie and David did a wonderful number and some skated to an assemble number with the cast to Micheal Bolton who was there in person.

So watch out for it when NBC will show it. I believe it is on december 19. from 4 pm to 6 pm.

I just change the date because the NBC broadcast is on December 19 at 4 pm-6pm.

Thanks! I agree, this was a great show! I loved every minute. I look forward to seeing the entire show. I will have to mark that date on my calendar. Thanks for the info!!

It's always a treat to watch Kurt skate. BTW, how old is he now? He's been around for some time and still going.

I believe Kurt turned 38 this past June.
really, that's it? i thought he was older (nothing against him, i love him and i think he skates great, i just thought he was older).
so NBC is showing 2 hours? that's good, at least we'll get to see more.

Kurt was born on June 18, 1966. He and Paul McCartney have the same birthday. He's 38 and still skating with a lot of jumps, style, and presentation. I always enjoy his skating. 👍

Just for a second there, I thought that they were born on the SAME DAY in 1966. Haha wow, I was confused. I guess I'm younger than I thought, lol, although I do know who he is haha!

I first saw Gotta Skate last month on French CBC then I decided to see it on English CBC.

I love seeing these skaters and how the connect with each other etc.

Imagine Kurt and Katerina as a pair. I know I know but just watch their program and imagine the posibilities. :agree: It is so so right.   ;) :p

I am not going to say more....other than it was a great show.

Wish I had seen it live.

I am in the minority. I never liked Kurt's Gotta skate at least on TV. I have never seen it live. In the first two years I barely watched it. After that I quit watching it. I don't care for all the dance and other things combined with skating. The skaters skate the same old same old programs. I found it extremely boring, and I am not going to watch it again.

Hi, just so you know, this year is not like any other year, it is just a simple show, just skating, nothing combine like before, like then first one when his wife came on to the ice without skate, no nothing like that, this is why is was so great, not that it was not original to see something else and a blend of two sports, but this year, the show is wonderful and great, the skaters are great and since it is simple, it is great, anyway, I saw the one hour that CBC shown on tv on last wednesday and I wanted to see more of it, so when it comes to NBC on december 18, it will be 2 full hours. So just cant wait, usually I just wanst fund of this show but now since it is simpler I loved what I.ve seen in an hour so imagine two, all the programs I've seen were new, nothing repeat that we have seen before, at least not me, and maybe in the other hour there is some but the first hour no old programs.

Josefz talked about Kurt's age and Brian Orser is there too, I know it is not Kurt Browning, but he is almost 45 and still has his triples, and also the back flip, gees the canadian guys are tough.

So enjoy on demceber 18 the whole thing because you could be surprised in a positive way compared to the 3 other editions of the same show.
