I feel bad for Sasha but at the same time, you really start to believe that it's something mental that she just will not overcome. Not to underscore Kimmie's performance but honestly, other than the techincal, it was not a performance that most of us will remember forever. It was indeed the best performance of the night by far and she deserved to win. Like many others are expressing, this world championships was kind of a big bore as far as the Ladies are concerned. Sasha had this given to her in her hands. All she had to do was stay on her feet and down to the last jump, she couldn't do that. I'm also tired of seeing that not too many skaters are taking to opportunity to beat out a bad Sasha performance. In my opinion, that kind of performance should not have been on the podium but with all the others cracking as much as Sasha, it was what it was. Honestly, I'm happy with the result and I don't see Sasha continuing. As I've always believed, karma is a ***** and now Sasha is no longer the new face of figure skating. It's only going to get harder from here if she decides to stay since next year a few promising ladies are moving into the senior ranks, skaters like meier, korpi, sokolova, leung, rochette, and the other Americans continue to do well. Not to mention, I really hope Michelle is back, if jsut for one more season.
