LADIES LONG PROGRAM Thread

Wagner's PCS is a joke. How the hell can her pcs equal Mao's?

It didn't just equal it overtook Mao's PCS...I understand her TES being higher than Mao's b/c Mao had many 2 footed landings. Mao probably just has to rebuild her PCS b/c of the rough seasons she had.

I'm so excited for Ashley, but Mao's skating gives me a kind of pure, deep emotion that I don't get from Ashley's skating. Mao's choreography also seemed more detailed and much more difficult >_<

Well, looks like Ashley did it. She made me eat my words! :P Great for her, Mao, and Caroline to skate so well. Good luck to Ashley and Mao at Worlds!

I'm so glad Caroline got to come to this event. She's done so much to rebuild her national and now international reputation in the course of just the last two competitions. Good job to the final flight, they made it feel like the major competition it is.

Ashley's program has many excellent details, just compare the two spiral sequences and see what the two are doing with their arms.

:bow::bow:CONGRATULATIONS TO MISS ASHLEY WAGNER, 2012 US NATIONAL CHAMPION & 4CC CHAMPION!!!!:bow::bow:

It has been a loooooooong road, for both you & your fans, but we never gave up, I've been with you since I first saw you skate. And I've never waivered that YOU should have won 2008 Nationals. And now you have, as well as 4CC, in the style & conviction of a C-H-A-M-P-I-O-N!!!!! :rock:

Interesting to compare the scores here to Caro's at Euros (even if we're not really supposed to compare scores across events).

It looks like Caro has the PCS advantage, but both Ashley's and Mao's TES crush Caro's.

Worlds is going to be more interesting than I'd thought....

Wow! Ashley won? Amazing. I hope she can bring this strength to Worlds.

I am sorry for Mao, though. She is such an extraordinary skater, and I still hope she wins Worlds. But golly, how nice to think that Ashley could be (whispers) a contender!

Well, isn't it funny how quickly things change? Just a few days ago the general consensious was that we were all rooting for Alissa to get top5 again at Worlds and for Ashley to keep up with her, and now we're rooting for Ashley to get on the podium and for Alissa to please, please, please not mess up the best thing that the US ladies has had going in years.

So proud of Caroline...I hope she is able to take this confidence and come out next year swinging! Especially if the US gets three spots, there will be room for her to go to Worlds, which would be amazing. Has Caroline ever been to Senior Worlds?
