Hmmm...I liked all of it, esp. the costume. She looked slimmer to me...was it me, the TV, the hair pulled up or is she slimmer?

She is slimmer!!!
I like the energy she puts in her skating. She always seems to have fun when skating. She was a pleasure to watch!! Mira was also interesting.

All the others were a big YAWN to me! I don't even know why I care to watch the Ladies. I hope/think that Yu Na, Mao, Meier, Kostner, Suguri and others will do something better.

I like Emily's energy too...I'm not crazy about her wild free leg coming out of jumps but it seems to punctuate the excitement and energy she displays so I'm willing to look beyond it. I like her LP a great deal...Everything about the SP is a disaster - music, choreography and costume. Hrmp.

Yuna and Miki. Miki has fixed her flip, so she and Yuna are are the only top ladies with big pure jumps and right take off edges. Thats fine for me, they have done their job properly and they should be rewarded.

Fortunately, there are not only Asada or Zhang out there. There are A LOT of other skaters which execute their jumps properly, and some with very good jumps,clean edges and excellent technique like Kim and Kostner.

I agree with this rule, until now even flutzes could be rewarded as lutzes and it was just a scandal.

I'm sorry. Miki Ando is still simply one of the least interesting skaters around. Even Mao's big sister was more "interesting".

I could care less that Miki Ando is not interesting for you. Who annointed you the judge of who is interesting ???

Emily Hughes was penalized heavily in Tokyo Worlds for underrotations. Maybe it was a conspiracy to keep the american down.

Emily is prone to underrotation, but she does have very nice edges into her jumps.

You've got that completely backwards. Miki Ando is a very talented artist and is by far the more graceful skater. And by the way, ballet style is not the only graceful style in figure skating. I love ballet too, but it's also great to see skaters do something different. Miki is an original.
