I guess what might have happened is an all Japan-USA final.

Or maybe not. Imai was a replacement for an earlier skater who didn't do well in their first assignment. She wasn't listed among the substitutes for JGP South Africa, so she would have had to go Sheffield - taking either Fujisawa's or Murakami's place, and we know how well they skated already.

I do wish she'd gotten an a second assignment, though. However, there's always next year!

Does Angela Maxwell have a triple Lutz？

I love her skating most in this year's junior cycle. And she has great speed, high jumps, well centered spins and good arms expression.

However, she lost to two Japanese skaters in GBR just because she had three doubles in her free program. Hope she can get all her triples in control before December.
