It isn't what Yu na has done all season- it's what she can do the night of the LP.
yup, exactly...right on. And same for Mao, and for Kimmie, and for Ando, and for...

I don't remember Joannie's SP at Torino but her LP was wonderful and many felt she wuzrobbed. So, perhaps she'll do the same in Tokyo. The "T...o" formula may be a charm.I too am sad that she's not having a great Worlds...
espcially when she allows the short program to have errors ala olympics. (or was her trouble in the long?? I have such a bad memory when it comes to non-podium spots...)
Kimmie didn't implode anywhere this season. Kimmie is the kind of skater who works toward a peak. What matters is that her best performances come at the most important events. Plus Yu Na wasn't squeaky clean the entire season. If memory serves me correct she made a few mistakes in the LP at the Gp final but others fared worse.
Joannie Rochette's problem is that she doesn't seem to be able to skate two clean programs in a competition. She can have a good SP, then a bad FS, or a bad SP and a great FS.
So there is hope that she can pull up a few places in the FS here. If she can skate a pb, she might even be able to make top 10, but at the same time, at least 2 or 3 skaters in the final flights would have to lay major bombs. What makes the task much more difficult is that she leads off the second flight, and that may tend to keep her PCS scores lower than she needs.
Joannie has to make top 12 to save two spots for Canada.

She had a rough spots in her LP at SC, but was still a joy to watch.Plus Yu Na wasn't squeaky clean the entire season. If memory serves me correct she made a few mistakes in the LP at the Gp final but others fared worse.
Korean judge is disappeared from the panel.
She may have done something wrong.
Previously a Korean named Chihee RHEE was listed.
I can imagine what happened after that outrageous score for that skater.
