I haven't seen the programs but from what everyone is staying, the scores just don't seem right!!
But that is absurd! I am really confused..... Seriously, how can you screw up two jumps of the combo and still end up in first place ahead of skaters who executed them properly?
Don't jumps count for anything anymore?

What the heck is up with Yu-Na's score? I thought she screwed up as bad as Mao? Wonder what the commentators had to say...
She screwed up both parts of her combo.
From all accounts it appears that Caroline had the best SP...I'm personally rooting for Yu-Na but this does not seem right.
What is wrong with the judges. I think Mao's score is ridiculous. Yu Na's should not be that high either, making a mistake on both jumps of the combo. I am really disappointed right now, what are the judges doing?!?! Why are Carolina's PCS so extremely low?!?!?!
If Yu-Na put her hands down on the combo, I think the score is too high, but I would still give her first because she is such a stunning skater. At least she didn't fall or miss an element. Mao's score, though, is ridiculous because she missed an entire element!
But still, why cry? Alot of skaters would kill to be in her place and were amazingly close in GP Points. That's just my opinion. Especially after her crying at TEB after being in 1st place anyway.
The least she could do is not run backstage and try to hold it in and congratulate. I could see alot of the others congratulating whoever was in first, no matter what place they were in themselves.

Yu-na: Oh, my GOD!
She opens with a forward-leaning 3F, both hands on the ice, then can only tack on a single toe (mandatory -3 GOE). Rest of the program great -- I actually enjoy the choreography more this time than all previous outings, it's definitely growing on me. Spins good. Great 2A toward the end of the program.
Must admire both her and Mao for not giving up on their programs despite the very costly early errors.
Would be interesting to see whether she beats Mao or the others with this skate. I think she should place just ahead of Mao, IMHO.

Remember too the team or skater that skated last has had an inflated score in every event. Takahashi in the mens, the French dance who probably would have been 3rd or 4th otherwise, so Yu-Na benefits skating last too. It shouldnt be that much a surprise.
What? No... I bet that anyone would be upset with a skate like that. It's not like she's whining to the media, if she wants to cry in private she has every right to do so. She only did one jumping pass cleanly and that was only a double axel. She completely LEFT OUT one jump. She fell out of another. That skate was nowhere near her ability. And she's, what, 17? The pressure she feels must be huge. I feel sorry for her. However, that score was a JOKE. She should be thanking the judges for that one, big time.

To be fair, Yu-Na did not leave out a whole element like Mao did.
Holy sh-t! How can yu-na get a SB and place ahead of all the other skaters?! She and her coach both look totally relieved and puzzled to.

She hasnt had a clean SP all season. So it does not have to be clean to be her new best.
