Radionova New SB: 62.71, Julia's score last season was 63.71
I like her SP from JGP France better because she was more energetic

I think that she skated a little bit conservative here, she knew she couldn't make mistakes... But, what a program that is!

exactly a little cautious and conservative,
the first in JGP in France was a bit better because I think it was her first JGP and thus had her more excited to skate and skated like nothing to lose.

She didn't break Julia's record

To good so quickly you get used.

It is stupid to want her be much better than 3 weeks ago.
Really level is the same - a little better, a little worse.

Slower - a little less fussy, a little more lyric.

But I think she deserved to... Her program was difficulter and (in my opinion) better artistically, but, obviously, it depends on the judges when the difference between the two scores is 1.00! A level, a couple of GOEs, it can be everything!

Julia's gets huge PCS and she racks more +GOE's, Julia has better sequences, faster speed on the ice , I think that is the difference
even with Radionova having greater technical difficulty, Julia's spins alone get many +GOE's

I agree. She was a bit slower here but a bit more polished, she finished her moves better. And I liked how she set the mood right from the beginning. Her 3F was better here also. And i think she should break Julia's record soon thanks to her much more better jumps(more difficult combination, no edge problems on the lutz). Plus, it's not like Elena's spins are bad or anything

I'm noot saying she is less than Julia, Elena has huge technical arsenal
what I mean is that Julia gets her huge marks from her +GOE's, Julia does flutz but the others she has deeper edges
Radionova also gets level 4 spins

Hannah Miller currently 2nd :) I think her or Cesario can get Silver
Or Kim, or Zhao.
Zhao skated much better than in Courchevel. May be she will skate FS so.

Unfortunately Stavitskaia does not look as pretender to medal, because at first her skating, not only score.

But we all remember "great girlsfall" at Courchevel and not so great (but not small) at Lake placid.
It may change situation.

Hannah Miller's step is lev.4?
Nonsense.
It's score modulation for her 2nd place.
Ugly ISU... with Russia, NA, Japan...

you mean from adding points from her score last season ?

Miller did definitely better in this competition. Her skating skills were impressive. Well, but I do agree that Millershould be in third, not second. Kim got too low pcs. She've got 22s in most competitions and only got 21s in Brasov. If kim had 22s, she could have been second place, not third. Also considering that Kim got 23 in her S.Korean placement for JGP and Korean scores are similar to international scores...

Welcome to Golden Skate ericpkh98! We hope you post long & often! Really, the ladies in second through fifth are very very close in scores. I do see that Kim is lower in PCS, but not a lot. Certainly, a difference of that level (0.5 points) is very difficult to see on youtube videos, so I would hesitate to say whether she was scored correctly. Since skating skills are low, I suspect she is not as speedy as the other two ladies.

You can't compare PCS across competitions as they fluctuate around a range for each skater. Typically, if the first skater is really *good* the PCS tend to be on the higher range across the board and if they aren't then not...
