Tracy: "... I was always struck by skaters' courage... The most important thing is that people come out of the sport stronger because of it, knowing more about themselves, knowing more about life skills, and not broken... Yes we want to develop the skating, but never at the expense of a person... If students can learn how to take the ice with presence, believe in themselves, and find their gift, and let that be enough, that's life ... dealing with all the ups-and-downs... You never want to be afraid of going after it because of the downside... It's learning to minimize the downside... Learning from the hard times is where you get pushed to the next level..."

P.J. Kwong tends to perform the announcer-in-arena duties for major ISU events, such as the Skate to Milano Olympic qualifier, in Beijing, and she announces for figure skating at the Olympics.
