Lindsay Thorngren | Page 3 | Golden Skate

Lindsay Thorngren

Lindsay performed very well today in the SP at 4CC. The judges were extra harsh on her IMO but whatevs….she skated very well and landed all of her jumps. Considering she only started jumping again a few weeks again it’s certainly a win for her. This is one of my favorite programs in years and to see it executed so well is a reward in and of itself.

Wishing her luck in the FP . Who cares what the judges do….you do you

Yes very nice .. I wish this was her skate at Nationals
I love the program too
EDT. Lindsay’s coach has a young daughter whose skating is phenomenal (to my untrained eye).. Skylar.. a little firecracker!

Poor girl!!! She was fighting so hard but was overwhelmed in the FS. I think she is probably physically healed but somewhat guarded still causing her muscle memory to betray her at times and causing the tiniest fleeting moments of doubt. I hope she can take this experience and grow from it. My heart aches for her but is also swelling with hope for her future,

For now it’s rest and recovery. Hopefully she gets good assignments next year!

ALSO: I’m submitting a formal request to keep her SP next year. It’s an absolute masterpiece and fits her so well. Plus she already has it down and that could allow her to focus most of her energy on a new FS which is where events are won.

Onward and upward! :ghug:

I love her short program and her dress, please keep both for next season. :)

Lindsay’s FS at Budapest Trophy.. just lovely🩵
Always a favorite.. and under rated imo
BTW This channel has many comparison skates that are interesting including specific jumps, choreo sequences, spins with earned GOE numbers,
and skates with alternative music.. very nice!

Not the short program skate Lindsay wanted at GP NHK but I love the Windmills program she kept from last year and the new dress is exquisite. 💜🩶🩷
FP to Movement this year is beautiful so hope it has a good showing tonight.. it’s a very sensual piece I think and represents her artistic sensibility.
🩵💛 all the best!!🫶🏼

Watching Lindsay struggle out there after being harshly treated in the short was heartbreaking. The real low point of the competition. The person who gave her the dinosaur she was hugging in the KnC is my favorite audience member, whoever you are. Honestly I found the audience booing her underscored SP to be heartwarming. I hope that Lindsay knows that people like her irrespective of what National judges think.

I was watching the world feed with commentary by Ashley Wagner, and up until now I couldn’t stand her commentary style! But when she spoke out and said Lindsay’s SP score was harsh and something she “didn’t agree with”, she became my hero! Then she pointed out individual jumps that she thought were better than what the tech panel said. I really appreciate Ashley being so outspoken! I hope it gets back to Lindsay.

Agree 💯 percent. Lindsey is my favorite skater; I have followed her since her early junior competitions and I love her quiet introspective style too .. for me a huge part of her charm. Ashley was awesome in support of her. I certainly want to see her in future.. good luck!
Her content is always beautiful and certainly more than enough to keep her in the top 10 in each comp. Look forward to seeing her again. 🫶🏼🩵💙😻🌷🌻💐

Post of Lindsey’s short on Diversify_Ice
Note the two flags represented USA & Dominican Republic; the comments clarify. Lindsey discusses her heritage there a bit.. interesting. This is an Instagram account worth following
