Yes they are in Shenzhen, he was born in a private hospital there. Lu Chen is now the program director at the World Ice Arena also in Shenzhen.

I think both Russian and Chinese traditions are rather supersiticious about people knowing about a pregnancy. So perhaps Lulu and Denis wanted to keep it from the public domain.
