Boots for Boys with Narrow Feet?

Happy New Year everyone! I'm wondering if anyone has experience with choosing boots for a boy with narrow feet, as I've noticed some brands (like Risport sadly) are not available in narrow widths for boys. We are currently located in Europe, so I am most interested in Risport or Edea for him given cost considerations. The wait for black Edea boots in width B is quite long, so I'm especially curious if others have experienced whether the heat molding with today's boots might make a standard-width boot by Edea or Risport doable. Or if anyone simply chooses white boots in narrow widths for boys, as these are more readily available... I've read some good reviews about SkateWrap to then transform them into black boots :) Thanks for the input.

Skate wraps sound cool!

But

makes it appear that the look isn't perfect - but maybe good enough, and easier than prepping the material and applying black shoe polish, which I was planning to do with the white boots I bought used - though I'm not sure they are worth the effort.

I wonder how durable SkateWraps are. Do you know anyone who has used them?

Perhaps they affect the breathability of the boots...

I never quite understood why men's boots are supposed to be black and women's white. White boots with black laces look pretty rad, and vice versa.

But to your question: minor adjustments are possible, yes, if the white boots are readily available be sure to try them and if your boy fits somewhere between B/C (meaning the B is at least not too wide) then it would be ok to get C with minor adjustments.

But to be honest, I think a fit matters more and getting boots from the factory that are stretched to C (that's what they do) and then trying to go back to B is a bit hacky.

Your best bet is probably to just get the white boots. If they are leather, then they can be dyed black. If synthetic, then paint. Since you are looking to permanently color them black, I wouldn't bother with SkateWrap, it's for when you only want temporary styling.
