On the one hand it's hard to believe she's 21! Feels like we've all been watching her grow up from her cutie Junior days (and earlier!)
On the other hand she's always carried herself in such a mature way. Always confident and convincing when she's photographed wearing the most sophisticated looks.

Ok. Now I've gone from admiration, to outright jealousy.

I mean, holy crap. These 2 are navigating their way through some power corridors in my world (social media/entertainment) like nobody's business.

Wow. Had no idea the event was that exclusive! Way to go, Maia and Alex. I have so much respect for them and their work ethic in everything they do. And on a shallow note, I think they *both* look hot in the photos Alchamei posted.
 
I'm also a huge fan of these two. They look perfect and in sync when they skate! Absolutely love them. That gala dance was brilliant. I'm hoping some of the same magic propels them forward in 2015-2016 because now that D/W and V/M are gone they are my new faves!

They have a fun chemistry with Brian. He had a cameo in the reality cooking show spoof video that Maia and Alex did for their Shibsibs Youtube channel a few years ago. My favorite part of that video is the clip at the end with the credits. Adorable Maia and Alex bowing when they were like toddlers. Maia looks so pleased and Alex can't help but grin too.

Maia and Alex are positioning themselves in many ways for a splash at the 2018 Olympics. First and foremost they are continuing to evolve with their skating skills and presentation. They have the same work ethic as Davis and White and I think this will do them well. They are older now - Maia just turned 21 and can put forward a more mature image. The sibling issue is a challenge but I think they are figuring out options that match their grace and fine-tuned technique. Secondly, they are using their interest and ability in social media to hone a second career of sorts or at least weave it into their skating. I find them very interesting and exciting!
