There is so much at risk for USFS to give consolation prizes at Worlds. They need to fight for USA to keep 3 spots in future. Max is in good shape while Jason spent at least a week in Milano instead of preparing for Worlds at home. Plus he will do shows in Japan next week too. Let's hope he will find his 3A in time. I saw that Max kept on practicing with Ilia and Andrew even after the freeskate. He is preparing just in case and taking this serious
But if USFS said one gets Worlds and the other gets Olympics Max got the better part in that

I watched this with youtube translator. Took me hours to understand everything. They most of all compared Russian and American coaching methods BUT he asked if Max will keep on skating and Max said that he is still waiting if he gets to go to worlds and after that he will rest relax and take time to think about it. But no matter if he decides to keep on skating or go into coaching his kids full time he will have people who will support him and make it possible. Soooo lets hope for the best

The show is usally filmed for around 14 days in May. That would explain why he withdrew from Scott Hamiltons show and it leaves enough time to prepare for next season if he decides to keep on skating. Benoits summercamp starts 15th June for example
